In a bizarre turn of events during the Oklahoma City Thunder versus Dallas Mavericks game, when it came down to the decisive minutes, forward Dirk Nowitzki did not seem to want the basketball.

Instead, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook didn’t let a slow start bother him as he closed out the win for his team.

Forward Kevin Durant had 40 points and Russell Westbrook scored eight of his 16 in OT to secure the win for the Oklahoma City Thunder over the Dallas Mavericks by the score of 111-105 Thursday night. It was the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 11th win in a row at home.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant put up 33 points and guard Russell Westbrook chipped in 21 points, but both superstars could not make game-tying three pointers in the closing seconds.

During the third quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, forward Kevin Durant drove to the basket, got fouled and flipped the basketball towards the hoop. Kevin Durant’s shot was way off, but he put just enough touch on it, and the ball bounced off the top of the backboard twice, and went in for a wild and-one.
