Both Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant realized they certainly were not facing the same Los Angeles team that have won NBA titles as the Thunder blowout the Lakers Friday night. Oklahoma City wasn’t even going up against a dully healthy Los Angeles Lakers roster, which has not gotten above .500 very much during this NBA season.

With that said, the Oklahoma City Thunder have to feel good about running Los Angeles out of their own building.

Forward Kevin Durant put up 42 points, a season-high for him, and guard Russell Westbrook scored 27 points while dishing out 10 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder took care of the Los Angeles Lakers comfortably, handing them their sixth loss in a row by the score of 116-101.

With frustration getting Kevin Durant ejected from a game for the first time in his career, the Brooklyn Nets got themselves a much needed win on the road versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Joe Johnson put up 33 points, a season-high for him, and Deron Williams chipped in 19 points while dishing out 13 assists as the Brooklyn Nets ended the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 12 game win streak at home, getting the win by the score of 110-93 on Wednesday night.

The Brooklyn Nets were leading by 23 late in the first half, but allowed the Oklahoma City Thunder to tie the score at 85 points apiece before going on a 23-8 run to pretty much seal the deal. Forward Kevin Durant got himself ejected close to the end of the game, arguing with NBA referee Danny Crawford soon after Kendrick Perkins was issued a technical foul.
