Pau Gasol injury to foot forces him to leave arena on crutches
Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol injury to his right foot forced him to leave the game during the fourth quarter versus the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. The injury was diagnosed as a plantar fascia, and Gaosl was seen leaving the arena on crutches.
Gasol admitted after the game that he’s “worried” about his injury. He has an MRI scheduled for Wednesday after the Lakers land in Boston. Pau Gasol also noted last week that he had been playing with pain in his right foot, and he rated the pain level en eight out of ten.
Pau Gasol tried to play through the pain at first, however after only one trip down the court, he asked head coach Mike D’Antoni to be subbed out as he went back into the locker room to get evaluated.
