Miami Heat clinch playoff spot with 17th straight victory
The Miami Heat kept all of their streaks alive Friday night as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers by the score of 102-93 at home.
LeBron James put up 25 points and pulled down 10 boards while Dwyane Wade chipped-in 22 points as Miami pulled away late in the game to get the victory. The win marked the Heat’s 12th regular-season victory in a row over the 76ers, as well as their 13th straight at home and their 17th victory in a row overall.
Also, all of this came on a night where the Miami Heat rested LBJ for the final eight minutes of the game even though the game wasn’t exactly decided at that point.
