LeBron James has best shooting performance of his NBA career
LBJ went 13 of 14 from the field for 31 points (second night in a row with 30+ points), which is a shooting percentage of .929. James’ performance tied for the third highest shooting percentage in the NBA over the past 18 seasons with a minimum of 14 attempts. Back in 2006, Shaquille O’Neal went 15 of 16 as a member of the Miami Heat versus the Seattle Supersonics, and back in 2007 Dwight Howard went 14 of 15 as a member of the Orlando Magic versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
LeBron James spoke after the game and said,
“I didn’t plan it that way, I was just attacking when I could, got into the paint and was able to make some shots.”
LeBron James also dished out eight assists and grabbed eight rebounds in his team’s victory.
