Kobe Bryant leads charge as Lakers win 21st in a row over Wolves
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant knows how important every game is from here on out if his team has any chance of making it to the NBA playoffs. After the Lakers beat the the Minnesota Timberwolves by the score of 116-94 Thursday night, Kobe spoke to reporters and said,
“I’ve been in attack mode since the break. It’s go time. We’re getting a little closer, and we’re starting to get in more of a striking distance where you start watching (the playoff race).”
Bryant certainly was attacking Minnesota all night as he finished the game by scoring 33 points on 13 of 22 shooting from the field, which included going 4 of 8 from three-point land, while making 3 of 7 free throw attempts.
Kobe also dished out five assists, grabbed five rebounds, recorded two steals and committed three turnovers in 32 minutes of playing time. Kobe Bryant didn’t even step foot onto the court during the fourth quarter as Los Angeles won their 21st straight game over Minnesota.
